Forget Photo Editing, Video Editing Is Here (Thanks To Hollywood FX)

I can honestly say that the iPhone is now complete!

Hollywood Video FX, an app by Macphun allows you to edit the visual appearence of the video through its various filters.


You can choose visual filters such as Sparta, Twilight, Black & White, Sepia or (my favorite!) Predator (as you can see below).

As shown (or rather heard) above, you can also swap out the original audio with various tracks and apply Vignette settings to give it a more dream like appearence.


Here is the same video shown previously using the Twilight filter and a romantic tune.

You can also speed up the video or slow it down, although unlike SlowMo you can not use the original audio when altering the video speed settings (which is a serious draw back in my honest opinon).

The only thing missing from Hollywood FX is the ability to add more sound tracks to its limited supply.


Hopefully MacPhun could offer it’s users the ability to add extra music to the videos (via in app purchasing or public ones for free), in order to give iVideoholics more choice.

This app is currently selling for $2.99 (although truth be told I would pay $9.99 for this app) and is a must have app for iPhone 3GS users everywhere.
